Meet Our Team of Physical Therapists in Madison, MS
Bill Thomas is known in the greater Madison, Mississippi, area for his outstanding work and commitment in providing high quality physical therapy services. His extensive track record of producing high-standard patient outcomes through personalized care has gained him the respect and trust of local physicians to handle even the most complicated situations.
In 1992, Bill graduated from physical therapy school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS with two bachelor of science degrees, in physical therapy and medical technology. He continued his education through programs like fall prevention at Cal State Fullerton and manual manipulation therapy through Stanley Paris’s Institute of Physical Therapy S-1 and S-3 courses.
Other programs covered the topics of osteoporosis, balance, knee and shoulder rehab, and interferential current technology and treatment regimens.
Bill has gained experience over the years with responsibilities spanning the management of a 2,400-member fitness center and developing programs to quality assurance, marketing, and community relations. Positions he’s held over the years include but are not limited to:
- Staff position at Methodist Medical Center
- Clinical Director of Rehabilitation Services at HealthSouth
- Director of Rehabilitation Services at Rankin Medical Center
At each facility, Bill has always sought to improve the rehabilitation components. He’s improved cardiopulmonary rehab, hand therapy, spine management, sports therapy, and balance and mobility programs for the older population.
In 2003, Bill received the National Leadership Award and became an honorary chairman of the Business Advisory Council in Mississippi. He is also on the roster at the University of Mississippi as a clinical instructor.
In his free time, you can find Bill enjoying his family or regularly participating in his church and mission work.
My name is Jennifer Vaughn and I am a physical therapist specializing in Pelvic and Women's Health at Professional Therapy Solutions. I grew up in Madison and graduated high school from St. Andrews. I received a BS in Biology from Rhodes College where I played softball for four years. Following college, I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from LSUHSC in New Orleans in 2015 and married my husband Jake Vaughn. We now have three children, Hank, Joey Grace, and Lucy Ann. I enjoy yoga, playing tennis, and CrossFit. Throughout my career, I have received in depth training in women's health and pelvic health conditions and treatment. My passion is to help women and mothers improve their function and quality of life.
My name is Beth Little. My hometown is Port Gibson, MS where I graduated from Chamberlain-Hunt Academy in 2006. I attended Mississippi State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After my undergraduate I attended Hinds CC graduating in 2014 and then received my PTA license. I have been with PTS since 2015, and love treating a wide variety of conditions but my interests are post-surgical rehab and orthopedics. I currently live in Madison, MS with my husband, Joel, and my son, Grayson.
My name is Austin Oberle. I am originally from Bossier City, Louisiana and moved to Mississippi when I was 13. I graduated from Germantown High School where I was a pitcher on the baseball team my Junior and Senior year. I then attended MS Delta CC and played baseball there for 2 years. I received my undergrad in biological sciences with a physical therapy concentration from Mississippi State University. I went to Hinds CC to attain my PTA license after my undergrad. I enjoy working at PTS and treating a wide variety of patients. My passion for baseball is still alive and I love working with our athletes to help improve their athletic careers and keep them injury free.
My name is Denise Beacham and I am the Office Coordinator at Professional Therapy Solutions. I have been at PTS since May of 2017. I am responsible for scheduling, Ins. verification, billing, collecting copays/deductibles and anything else that is needed! I am a challenge driven person and will work with your Ins Co to get the most out of your benefits!
I am originally from Helena, Alabama. We moved to Madison in 2005. We are die hard Alabama fans and attend football games when we can!
I am married to Mike and we have one son, Alex, who is married to Rachel.
My name is Pepper Thomas. I am 2 years old and an Australian Labradoodle. I come to work with my owner, Bill, every day except Friday! I am off on Fridays and spend my day at home chasing my brother, Rocky.
As a therapy dog, I provide TLC to the patients who need/want it! If you are in the waiting room too long, I will go to my toy box and bring you a toy or a ball to occupy your time while waiting!
